Wanda and her Egg

Wanda is about as proud as a mother-to-be can be. She even takes her egg out for a walk — much to the concern of the older hens, who think that any proper hen would sit on her egg at all times.

I’ve no doubt she’ll be just fine as a mother — her mother was — just a little unorthodox. And proud, very proud.
